The Williams College Department of Music presents the Williams Opera Workshop in a concert on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. in Chapin Hall on the Williams College campus. This free event is open to the public.
Williams Opera Workshop and orchestra offer selections from Candide by Leonard Bernstein, and three opera ensembles by Mozart’s operas Così fan tutte, Don Giovanni, and The Magic Flute.
Williams Opera Workshop is a newly founded project involving talented Williams student singers working together to prepare operatic scenes. This offers singers the opportunity to further develop skills in stage acting, character development, and foreign language while working as part of an ensemble. The workshop culminates in this final concert performance.
