Megalan Tso ’22 presents a senior recital for cello along with collaborating pianist, Elizabeth Wright. Elliot Kim ‘23 joins him to present works for two cellos. Among the selections are Bartók Romanian Folk Dances Suite arranged for cello and piano; Dvorak Waldesruhe op. 68 (“Silent Woods”); Shostakovich Cello Concerto No. 1, III. Cadenza and IV. Finale – Allegro con moto; Rachmaninoff Sonata for Cello and Piano, movements III. Andante and IV. Allegro mosso); Leonard Cohen Hallelujah arranged for two cellos; and Paganini Variations arranged for two cellos.
