Clarinetist Locke Meyer ’25 presents a program that includes etudes by Delécluse (movements from Bach violin sonatas/partitas arranged for clarinet); the first movement of Beethoven’s Trio in B-flat Major for clarinet, cello, and piano, with EB Diallo ’25, cello; Solo de Concours by Messager; and two movements of the Brahms Clarinet Quintet with a chamber music group including Locke Meyer ’25, clarinet; EB Diallo ’25, cello; Noam Pasman ’28; Lydia Jung ’28; Owyn Darrell-Sterbak ’28; and Sam Johnson ’28.
Locke Meyer, clarinetist and composer, is from St. Louis, Missouri. At Williams College, where he studies music and computer science, he enjoys playing in the Berkshire Symphony, with the I/O New Music Ensemble, and with various chamber music groups. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, rocking out, watching movies, reading books and poetry, and sampling such exotic flavors of sparkling water as “Banana Bergamot” and “Mild Spruce.”
