Lour Yasin '23, soprano

Lour Yasin ’23, soprano presents songs from different genres (pop, broadway, classical, Middle Eastern) collaborating with Paul Kim ’24, piano, for such classics as Pergolesi’s Se tu m’ami. With tenor Chris Van Liew ’23 there is a duet of Stephen Sondheim ’50 “Move On,” from Sunday in the Park with George. For another Sondheim hit, “Getting Married Today,” from Company (1978) she is joined by Chris Van Liew ’23, tenor, Casey Monteiro ’24, soprano, and Ethan Jeon ‘24.5, piano. Among other works, the audience can look forward to her performance of Fairuz’s, Zuruni, with the collaboration of Nicholas Mangialardi, ney, Rami El-Aasser, and Ammar Eltigani 23.5, percussion; Bob Davis, oud, Chenyang Sun ’23, piano, and Joel Nicholas ’23, piano.
