The American Studies and Asian American Studies programs warmly invite you to a reception to welcome the beginning of the spring semester, and to mark the installation of the Trapunto Quilt in Sawyer Library (on display until February 25th). This fabulous quilt was made by the students of AMST/AAS 373, “US Empire in the Philippines: Capitalism, Colonialism, and Revolution” (Fall 2023) and Jan Padios, with invaluable additional contributions by Cass Cleghorn, Tattiya Maruco, Emery Shriver, and Farah Momen. Join us to celebrate the power of collaborative making and learning!
Refreshments will be served. All are welcome!
Thursday, February 8, 4:15 to 5:30 pm, Stetson 307 (Mabie Room).
