Join Professor Alice Bradley (Geosciences), a native of Alaska and an expert on ice and the Arctic in a conversation with Professor Magnús Bernhardsson, a native of Iceland and chair of Global Studies, on dealing and coping with cold weather. With the long New England winter ahead, they will share some insights into how to not only survive but in fact thrive in a cold environment. What are some easy steps to take to stay comfortable? What are some strategies for coping mentally? Is it possible to be cold and happy? Warm drinks will be served.
