Vista Storytime: Diversity in the Latinx Community
Tue, November 6th, 2018
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
- This event has passed.

The term “Latinx” can, at times, make people feel uncomfortable or alienated if they don’t identify with what is traditionally thought of as the Latinx identity. Our aim for the meeting on the 6th is to empower students who have heterogenous identities- Afro-Latinx, Brazilian, Asian-Latinx, White-Latinx- with a platform to express their unique experiences. If you are interested in sharing your story, including its moments of empowerment and the day-to-day challenges that it involves, please, come to our meeting. We will be serving dumplings, plantains, and more!
