Trace Ideals and the Classification of Commutative Rings by Prof. Haydee Lindo, Friday, March 8, 1 – 1:45 pm, Thompson Chemistry 206, Mathematics Faculty Seminar
Abstract: Commutative algebraist concern themselves with commutative rings and those rings are often understood and classified based on quirks in their internal structure – homological, spectra, depth etc. In this talk we will discuss ongoing work to classify rings using certain ideal-theoretic structures of the commutative noetherian rings.
