The Nutcracker

The Albany Berkshire Ballet’s The Nutcracker, set to Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score, is without a doubt ballet’s most beloved family tradition. Set in the late 1800’s, the ballet tells the story of a young girl named Clara and the magical dream she has one Christmas Eve. From childhood to adolescence, a grand tour through time and space takes Clara from winter to spring in a single night. Highly acclaimed for its dance content, the Albany Berkshire Ballet’s The Nutcracker is a must-see family event. Choreography by Artistic Director Madeline Cantarella Culpo.
