Statistics Research Blitz: Networks, Mediation, and Microbiomes, oh my! by Professors Anna Plantinga, Xizhen Cai and Elizabeth Upton, Williams College, Wednesday July 19th, 1:00 PM – 1:50 PM, North Science Building 113, Wachenheim
In this talk, we will provide a short overview of three statistics faculty members’ primary research areas: network analysis, mediation models, and microbiome stability measures. We will end with an introduction to the work the Forensic Statistics group is doing on methods for assessing the match between known-source and unknown-source shoeprints.
