Sophie Lu ’19, violin and Haelynn Gim ’19, soprano are joined by student colleagues for a recital of varied works.
The concert givers start the concert performing together. Haelynn Gim ‘19 sings Ah! Vous dirai-je maman! by Adolphe Adam, joined by Sophie Lu ‘19, violin and Dalton Yu ‘22, piano.
Sophie Lu ‘19, violin; and Dalton Yu ‘22, piano collaborate to present Édouard Lalo’s Symphonie espagnole in D minor, op. 21.
Haelynn Gim ‘19 takes the stage again, performing Amy Beach’s Three Browning Songs, op. 44 (The Year’s at the Spring, Ah, Love, But a Day!. and I Send My Heart Up to Thee!
The concert concludes with the trio of Haelynn Gim ‘19, soprano; Eugene Cho ‘20, piano; and Sophie Lu ‘19, violin offering Richard Strauss’s Vier Lieder, op. 27 (Ruhe, meine Seele!, Cäcilie, Heimliche Aufforderung, and Morgen!)
