Solving the Game of Lights Out Using Linear Algebra by Leyla Kamshad ’23, Mathematics Colloquium, Wednesday, March 8, 1 – 1:45 pm, North Science Building 113, Wachenheim.
Abstract: In this talk I will introduce the electronic game of Lights Out and use techniques from linear algebra to show how we can represent this game mathematically, and subsequently find winning strategies.
