Sign Up for a Pen Pal in Prison

People who are incarcerated – particularly queer people – express higher levels of loneliness this time of year (when people on the outside are connecting with their families for the winter holidays). Ultimately, prison abolition is about breaking down barriers and that begins in our intimate, everyday interactions, so if you interested in starting/sustaining a pen pal relationship with somebody on the inside as a means of growing with/getting to know somebody, swing by the Environmental Center Matt Cole Reading Room on Wednesday 12/5 at 7PM for supplies, snacks, advice in navigating the sign-up process, and good vibes/good company! This is our last sign-up session of the semester. If you already have a pen pal, but just want free food, people to talk to about prison abolition, and those ever sought after stamps please swing through too!
