Join us for a weekend of learning about food, race, and culture with noted African-American and Jewish culinary historian Michael Twitty, author of The Cooking Gene (https://thecookinggene.com/), the 2018 winner of the James Beard Award for Best Food Writing and Book of the Year.
Friday April 12 – at the Jewish Religious Center (24 Stetson Court)
6:00pm: Services
7:00pm: Dinner; Michael will give the D’var Torah at dinner
Saturday April 13 – at Congregation Beth Israel (53 Lois Street, North Adams)
9:30-11:15am: Services; Michael will give the D’var Torah during services
Sunday, April 14 – at Rice House (30 Morley Drive)
10:30am: Cooking demonstration
