Public Tour of Garfield House on August 16th

Join the Garfield House project team for a tour of the new building before students move in. Garfield House, a student residence, is designed to Passive House and LEED Gold standards.
The tour will begin promptly at 1:30 in front of Garfield House – 40 South Street.
Garfield House is a high performance wood framed building using both the LEED Gold and “Passive House” design criteria and philosophy, the latter which focuses heavily on a well-insulated airtight envelope, high performance windows, and high efficiency energy recovery.
