Pseudoinverse Matrices and Applications by Borivoje Vitezovic ’20, Mathematics Colloquium, Monday, February 24, 1 – 1:45 pm, Stetson Court Classroom 101

Abstract:  We introduce the Moore-Penrose pseudoinverse matrices and discuss their properties.  We explore different methods for calculating pseudoinverses while considering their effectiveness.  We conclude the talk by considering applications to the least-squares problem and digital image restoration.
