Please join the Dance Department for an evening of poetry and performance with Bangladeshi transgender performer Tashnuva Anan.
Parikh [Lover], presented at Williams College on 13 March 2024, is a performance by Bangladeshi transgender performer Tashnuva Anan. It is based on Tashnuva’s book of poetry of the same name, which was published in February 2024. In the performance Tashnuva explores themes of queer love, desire, and loss, and the ways these experiences find expression in and beyond language. Parikh is performed in Bengali with English translations.
