Parilia 2023! A Celebration of Sheep and Shepherds Through Time

Every April, ancient Romans celebrated the birthday of their city and the leading out of new flocks to pasture. Members of the college community are invited to stop by throughout the day to view student research projects from CLAS 243 and CLLA 102, to talk with the shepherds, and simply enjoy a pleasurable pause. Brattle Farm (Pittsfield, MA), sheep and shepherds will be visiting for the event.
The event will take place in the Solar Meadow between Hollander Hall and the Class of ’66 Environmental Center.
