Our Quasi-Excellent Summer Adventure by Prof. Susan Loepp, Mathematics Colloquium, Wednesday, July 5, 1 – 1:50 pm, North Science Building 113, Wachenheim.
Abstract: This summer, the Commutative Algebra Local Rings and Completions group will be studying Quasi-Excellent local rings and their completions. In this talk, we first cover the definition of and ideas behind quasi-excellent local rings and completions of local rings. We end with an update on the progress of our group.
