Optimal Production Using The Leontief Model by Daniel Pompi ’24, Wednesday March 6, 1:00 – 1:50pm, North Science Building 113, Wachenheim, Mathematics Colloquium
Abstract: This talk will consider the Nobel-prize awarded Leontief model. We will solve numerically for optimal production of a set of goods in an economy before proving that under certain assumptions which best characterize a real economy, this solution is unique and positive.
