Next Monday, please join the Asian American Studies Program in a celebration of its first graduating class of official Concentrators! In this second of two presentations, Sarah Hua (AMST), Rika Nakato (WGSS/PSCI), Will Huang (CHEM/EALC), and Keshini Cardozo (AMST/CHEM) will present their semester-long Asian American Studies capstone projects.
The schedule of presentations is below, along with a Zoom link for remote audience members.
Monday, May 6, 4:15pm – 6:30pm, Griffin 3
- 4:15-5:00pm: Reception with light refreshments
- 5:00-5:30pm: Sarah Hua — Essays on Asian American Comedy + a comedy zine
- 5:00-6:30pm: Rika Nakato, Will Huang, and Keshini Cardozo will present their collaborative and individual work from “Collecting for Community,” a group independent study on theories and histories of archives and archival practice, with a focus on collecting and archiving for Asian American organizing, historical memory, and literature.
Each presentation will be followed by Q & A with the audience.
