INISH (Spring Concert)

In the Irish language, the word “Inish” means both “island” and “to tell.” INISH’s mission is to embrace the challenge of creating new work that melds traditional and contemporary Irish dance and music. This year INISH will be exploring the influence of the female presence through history, myth, and legend up to the present day. Discover some who were known as great imposters, soldiers, pirates, fairies, healers, lovers, witches, artists, queens, and saints. Come enjoy Eireann (Ireland) from the powerfully feminine perspective.
