Human Health Effects of Tar Sands Mining: Fort Chipeywan, Alberta

Dr. Springman is an environmental toxicologist who has worked extensively on the Exxon Valdez spill, as well as on the physiological effects of water pollution from tar sands operations in Alberta and toxic waste burning by the US Army in Afghanistan.  She has interesting and disturbing stories to tell about her work.
