Dr. Will Amidon, Middlebury College, will present a lecture on “How Did Recent Tectonic Events Shape the Landscape of Nw England?” He has been at Middlebury since August 2010, returning to his native Vermont, after graduate school at Cal Tech. He is a tectonic geomorphologist who specializes in understanding recent Earth processes through cosmogenic age dating. He has taught courses in Environmental Geology, Tectonics, and Remote Sensing.
