Epic!!! LEGO Building Competition: Williams vs. WES students, Paresky, Jan 25, 3-5 - Who will win?

This Friday, January 25th from 3-5, two teams of Williams students will compete with a team from the Williamstown Elementary School to see who can build a lego model of the Saturn V rocket the fastest. The set was chosen in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. All three teams have been training as part of a winter study course entitled MATH 12: The Mathematics of Lego Bricks. The two college teams will be competing with a significant time handicap to make the competition fair against the elementary school students. Prizes will be awarded for the team that completes the build the fastest with the smallest sum of ages between participants. There is likely to be significant audience participation, so come excited to see a fast-paced, dynamic competition!
