Ensemble Auditions for Jazz Instrumentalists

Students interested in participating in the Williams Jazz Ensemble or one of the small jazz groups are cordially invited to bring their instruments to Shainman Rehearsal Hall and sit in with the ensemble under the direction of Kris Allen.

This is an important opportunity for musicians to meet and hear one another and play for Director of Jazz Performance Andy Jaffe, and ensemble directors Kris Allen (big band & small jazz combo), Avery Sharpe (small jazz combo) and John Wheeler (small jazz combo), who will work with qualified students following auditions to form ensembles and establish rehearsal schedules.
