From German-born American psychoanalyst Erich Fromm in the Anatomy of Human Destructiveness (1973), Biophilia is “the passionate love of life and of all that is alive.” It is also an original play by contemporary playwright Ella Talerico for the Cap & Bells Spring Season! Biophilia is a series of experimental vignette-style scenes expressing a “love of life” in its highs and lows, its blessings and curses, and everything in between.
