Patrick Honohan is a distinguished economist who currently serves as a Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics and an Honorary Professor at Trinity College Dublin. In his upcoming talk, he will explore the historical and contemporary role of Central Banks in managing financial crises.
Dr. Honohan has an extensive background in economics and finance, having previously served as the Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland, a senior advisor on financial sector issues at the World Bank, a research professor at Ireland’s Economic and Social Research Institute, and an economic advisor to the Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister).
