- This event has passed.

For woodwind and brass students, only one audition is necessary for the Berkshire Symphony, Symphonic Winds, Student Symphony, the Brass Ensemble, and chamber music ensembles. For the Berkshire Symphony and chamber music ensembles, the audition is for membership/placement; for the Symphonic Winds, Brass Ensemble and Student Symphony, the audition is for seating purposes only.
Each student should prepare approximately 5-10 minutes of music of her/his choice, consisting both of something lyrical and something technical. There will be no sight reading or scales asked during the audition. Students interested in being considered for the Berkshire Symphony should also prepare as much as you can from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2, opus 36 in D Major.
Sign up sheets are in the hallway in Bernhard’s classroom wing (across from Mr. Feldman’s office.) Copies of the excepts are also now available in the pockets behind the sign up sheet..
Times will be broken down as follows:
Brass: 2pm – 4:30pm
Woodwinds: 4:30 – 7:00pm
