Audition for the Spring Hip-Hop Concert with Levitt Fellow Shakia Johnson and Sankofa

Arthur Levitt, Jr. ’52 Artist-in-Residence SHAKIA JOHNSON is holding auditions for her Spring 2019 concert on Thursday, February 7th, 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Dedicated dancers who have experience with hop-hop dance and/or choreography are encouraged to try out. Seeking originality, high energy, strong stage presence, and enthusiasm!

The concert, shared with the SANKOFA Step Team, will encompass three hip-hop combinations that will be performed in groups. NO SOLO REQUIRED.

Auditions will be held in the Dance Studio of the ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance. Please come warm and ready to dance!
