The Williams College Department of Music presents pianist André-Michel Schub on Sunday, March 15 at 3:00 p.m. in Chapin Hall on the Williams College campus. A public master class hosted by Mr. Schub and featuring performances by talented Williams pianists will be held on Monday, March 16 at 4:15 p.m. in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall. Both of these free events are open to the public.

For his performance as part of Williams Visiting Artist series, Mr. Schub plays a selection of classical works for piano. He begins with two works of Beethoven: Sonata op. 2 No. 3 and “Appassionata” Sonata op. 57. After an intermission the concert resumes with Chopin’s Ballade No. 3 in Ab Major, Fauré’s Nocturne No. 6 in Db Major, and Franz Schubert’s “Wanderer” Fantasy in C Major D760. Mr. Schub will be performing on the college’s magnificent Bösendorfer Imperial grand piano.
