Television vs. Film Acting: A Seminar with Professor Marek Probosz

The film actor’s task is to trust the director at the unique moment of “Action!“, while the TV acting process is faster with less time for the actor to prepare and work with the director.

In both cases, an actor must live authentically and immediately in front of the camera. He doesn’t need to know the end result or the connection with the rest of the story; it’s not for the actor to make decisions about what will end up on the screen.

Professor Marek Probosz – international actor, writer, and director – will illuminate how film and television actors differ in the master and execution of their craft. This hour-long special event will feature film and television critiques, analysis, and a Q&A session with Professor Probosz.
