The students of THEA 204, Acting II, will perform selections from the play “The Mother”, a play about the difficulties of communicating between family members, written by Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz and directed by Professor Omar Sangare. Through out the course the students have learned the techniques of the father’s of theater and acting: Stanislavski, Brecht, Grotowski and Suzuki. The students will perform using these techniques simultaneously coupled with the analysis of the text in order to show case their ability to articulate emotion through intensive acting expression and character formation.

After our brief presentation, the audience will be able to vote for the best performer and will have a chance to join us in the Meet & Greet.
