Vocal performances inspired by time and space will be presented in conjunction with “Candle (from Earth into a Black Hole).”
Katie Paterson’s Candle (from Earth into a Black Hole) unfolds over time during multiple activations over the course of its installation. At each, the candle will burn for two hours, releasing different layers of scent alongside interventions inspired by the installation.
The candle will burn from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Interventions begin in the Reading Room at 6 p.m.
