Join the student food justice group Bread and Roses for a drive to Worcester, MA this Friday 1/25 for a talk and community dinner sponsored by Witness For Peace New England and Stone Soup, a grassroots artist/activist collective in Worcester. A Boston-based group of urban farmers will share on their recent experience in Cuba, discussing “useful practices in agroecology and community resilience, cross-movement solidarity building, and updates on how they have been incorporating lessons from Cuba into their own work for food sovereignty and environmental justice.”
We will be making a dish to bring to the community dinner at around 1pm Friday afternoon, and will leave in college vehicles at 4pm. Returning around 11pm. Email nmw2@williams.edu if you would like to join!
