Help us bake and braid challah, traditional braided Jewish loaves of bread, on Thursday to combat food insecurity locally and globally. We will be making chocolate, cinnamon-sugar, and plain mini-challot, as well as “challah bites,” a new delicacy for your enjoyment! We will be selling during lunchtime on Friday.

Thursday, January 17 • 3-7pm • Jewish Religious Center (Stetson Ct.)

Ever wondered how braiding challah works? Help us braid and bake the challot — we’ll teach you!

Friday, January 18 • lunchtime • Paresky

Visit our Paresky table to buy challot!

Challah for Hunger is a global nonprofit dedicated to fighting food insecurity on college campuses. 50% of the proceeds from each bake go to Mazon, a Jewish anti-hunger organization, and the other 50% go to a local/student organization working towards the goal of ending food insecurity (in our case, Berkshire Food Pantry).
