Dear Family/Friends,

We are proud and excited to invite you to the Inaugural Northeastern Indigenous Community Gathering on April 26, 2025, at Williams College hosted by the Native American Indigenous Student Alliance (NISA) at Williams in collaboration with Native Students from Dartmouth. It will be a day of reflection on the state of Native American and Indigenous Studies at Williams College and partner institutions, a day of much needed unity in solidarity with each other, and a day of celebration and community-building, teach-ins, and songs. We would be honored by your attendance and participation. Please feel free to bring any Native/Indigenous Regalia/Art/Instrument/Poetry you would like to share, or come sing a song or play music during our open mic, or simply come to listen and enjoy. We are really looking forward to having faculty/staff and administrators join in for the Faculty/Staff/Administrator Roundtable. Please Sign up to be part of the event below. For any Indigenous relatives, reimbursements for transportation cost may be requested (please email dmr4@williams.edu). For any visiting students, we are able to offer lodging if you would like to spend the night. Please see the attached schedule for the tentative breakdown of the day with options for participation and RSVP. If you can attend, please complete the attached RSVP form with options for participation as soon as possible. If you are interested in volunteering during the event please check out the many volunteer opportunities and sign up form below.
