LOG LUNCH: TAKING CLIMATE CHANGE SERIOUSLY: Why Supporting Wind and Solar is Not Enough
Ben Longstreth ’93, Consultant on climate policy and strategy.
Longstreth graduated from Williams in 1993. He obtained a law
degree from Columbia University and then worked at the United States
Department of Justice. From 2006 to 2022, he was a senior attorney
with the Natural Resources Defense Council, where he focused on
climate policies in the power, transportation and industrial sectors.
In 2022, Ben moved to the Clean Air Task Force, where he led a team
advocating for carbon capture and storage. Ben currently serves as a
consultant on climate policy and strategy.
