Combinatorics of Weight Multiplicities by Prof. Pamela Harris, Mathematics Faculty Seminar, Friday, November 30, 1 – 1:45 pm, Stetson Court Classroom 105
Abstract: In this talk we present a few directions for research in combinatorial representation theory. We begin with some past work on studying weight multiplicities and develop combinatorial questions stemming from this work. The talk will be mostly on open problems and the types of techniques used in attempting to resolve them.
