Join us for an evening with Paul Grogan for a discussion of his book, Be Prepared to Be Lucky: Reflections on Fifty Years of Public and Community Service.
Throughout his successful career as a civic leader, Paul Grogan has proven that vision, determination, and collaboration can open the door to transformational change and good fortune. Paul’s experience as an urban changemaker in four respected organizations spans five decades. He worked for two successive Boston mayors, served as CEO of LISC, transformed Harvard University’s relationship with the city of Boston, and capped his career as CEO of the Boston Foundation. Paul’s memoir captures his stories and the recollections of people who knew him well. “Be Prepared to Be Lucky” serves as a measure of Paul’s legacy and a roadmap for young civic leaders to face the challenges of modern times.
