On October 28, 100 people will gather at the Clark to create a massive wave of sound, and you can join us.  Participation is open to all.

DESCRIPTION:
The Williams Percussion Ensemble is seeking creative and adventurous people to join us in an utterly unique musical experience.  On Sunday, October 28 we will present Michael Pisaro’s immersive work for 100 performers making percussive sounds, a wave and waves, at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown.  In this monumental 74 minute work the performers create one massive wave, then a series of 100 overlapping waves, and we want you to be part of it.
You do not need to be an experienced percussionist to participate.  A wave and waves can be performed by anyone who is interested in creating sound and who wants to bring their focus and attention to a work of public art.  Instruments will be provided for all participants.
