Tony Williams Memorial Service at 10 am, Saturday, January 14, 2023, Thompson Chapel main sanctuary

A memorial service will be held for Anthony Duane (Tony) Williams at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2023 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel main sanctuary. Tony died December 13  at home in North Adams.

Tony attended Elmira High School and worked for many years as a licensed welder and certified housing inspector. He joined Williams as a snack bar attendant in late 2017. His joys in life included spending time with his family, friends and fishing. He is survived by his partner, Williams College Children’s Center teacher Angela Jimenez, his former wife and caregiver Tonya (Benoit) Williams; two sons, Christopher Sumlin and Anthony “TJ” Collin; and granddaughter, Minyah.

Tony will be remembered in music and words by friends and family. People will be invited to share a few memories during the service.
